My artwork showcases the beauty of nature in the trees, skies, water, hills and mountains. It plays with revealing vibrant color in the wild places around us. I seek to provide a fresh perspective on nature and how I see authentic beauty. Working from my home studio, my days are spent creating, parenting and dreaming of my next adventure in creation.
ARTWORK
Creating art has been a lifelong passion. It was a hobby as a twelve year old and quickly grew into a passion as I explored the medium of oil paint. Many studio hours training with a local artist and Fine Art studies in University. Where I learned to embrace my own unique style and lean into the colors and the movement that my eyes see in the world around me.
the COMMISSIONS PROCESS
SIZE: First thing is to decide the best size canvas for your custom project. At this time I am only accepting commissions 30" x 40" and larger. If you are unsure the perfect size for your space, I’m happy to help you decide!
INSPIRATION: I appreciate any inspiration you can share - what particular paintings/style of mine you are drawn to, any photographs you would like me to work from, pinterest boards, color palettes, etc. The more, the better!
SKETCH: I start with a few acrylic sketch thumbnail options for your piece, to give you an idea of what I had in mind and make sure we are on the same page. The oil painting begins after your approval. I typically allow for 4-8 weeks for completion of each piece.
PRICING: My prices for commissioned pieces start at $500, and run 15% more than ready-to-ship paintings. This is to account for the time spent planning and collaborating with you. I ask for a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance, plus shipping, due once your painting is complete.
