september :: algonquin discovered

I had way to many images to pick through. So here are just a few of our incredible trip!Really Jay and I are pretty awesome together...I know I am a little biased but we pretty much rocked our portaging adventure. It was a beautiful 4am start, on my birthday, heading up north and we began with a warm paddle and some tough portages with all our gear. Then the rain came... over night we discovered we were sleeping in a puddle but eventually it cleared and we could take up our paddle again and search for some wild life but we had no luck just loons and frogs! Monday meant packing up and heading home, our trek began hopeful for the sun to break through and the wind to die down but that did not happen, it got cool and the rain came but my competitive nature kicked in and I wanted row fast than all the groups of men. After some rough water and high winds we made it! It was a great feeling of accomplishment so spectacular to see creation and God's hand at work!
